Environmental consultancy for more aware and compliant companies
CSIA supports companies in managing environmental obligations, from impact assessment to the preparation of authorisation applications. The service helps the business control the technical and documentary aspects related to noise, waste, atmospheric emissions and water discharges.
Technical and operational support that helps management and company officers understand the applicable obligations, manage the documentation and operate with greater continuity and confidence.
Environmental obligations affect company operations
Environmental management is not just a documentary obligation: it affects authorisations, relations with the competent authorities and the ability to carry out production activities properly.
Noise, waste, authorisations, emissions and discharges
CSIA's environmental service covers the main technical and documentary aspects that companies must oversee in order to operate in compliance with current legislation.
Noise pollution
Predictive acoustic impact assessments or assessments for existing activities, with technical documentation drawn up by a qualified acoustics technician.
Acoustic climate
Predictive assessments to check the acoustic compatibility of areas intended for sensitive uses: schools, hospitals, care homes, parks or new residential developments.
Waste management
Review of registers and forms, documentary support and assistance in preparing the annual MUD waste declaration.
Authorisation applications
Assistance in preparing and managing environmental applications such as AIA and AUA, with attention to the correct classification of the activity.
Emissions and discharges
Support for authorisations relating to atmospheric emissions and industrial water discharges, in accordance with current environmental legislation.
Acoustic assessments for new and existing activities
Acoustic assessments make it possible to verify the noise impact of activities, plants and infrastructure on the surrounding context. They may be required at the design stage, for the issuing of authorisations, or for activities already in operation.
Predictive acoustic impact
Useful for estimating the effect of the noise produced by a new activity or infrastructure before it is built or activated. It may be required for the issuing of building permits or authorisations.
Existing activities
Verification of the acoustic compatibility of activities already in place, through instrumental surveys and comparison with the emission, immission and differential limits set by the acoustic zoning.
Acoustic climate
Assessment of the area where buildings or sensitive functions will be located — schools, hospitals, care homes, parks, residential developments — to verify the absence of acoustic issues in the area analysed.
Waste documentation under control
Waste management requires constant attention to the correct completion and keeping of documentation. Registers, forms and annual declarations must be managed precisely to avoid errors and non-conformities.
Waste registers
Verification of the presence and correct completion of the waste loading and unloading registers required by law.
Forms
Review of the documentation relating to the transport and management of waste, verification of the accuracy of the information reported.
MUD
Support in preparing the annual waste declaration for the obligated parties — electronic declaration to the relevant Chamber of Commerce.
Documentary verification
Review of the consistency between the company activity, the waste produced and the available documentation to identify any gaps.
For installations subject to the rules set out in Annex VIII of D.Lgs. 152/2006. It replaces the environmental authorisations required by law and may require a Services Conference with several competent authorities.
For small and medium-sized enterprises and facilities not subject to AIA that need to obtain, renew or update at least one of the required environmental permits, such as authorisations for atmospheric emissions or water discharges.
For plants and activities that produce emissions and need to obtain prior authorisation. Some activities may fall under simplified procedures or general authorisations; for the others, the ordinary procedure is required.
For discharges of industrial wastewater — from buildings or plants where commercial or goods-production activities take place — that must be authorised in advance before activation or operation.
From authorisation doubt to correct documentation
A structured process, from the initial analysis of the activity to the management over time of deadlines and documentary updates.
Analysis of the activity
Understanding of the production cycle, the plants, the discharges, the emissions and the relevant environmental aspects.
Verification of obligations
Identification of the applicable obligations and any necessary authorisations.
Technical data collection
Retrieval of layouts, plant information, production data and existing documentation.
Application preparation
Organisation of the technical and administrative documents needed for the authorisation application.
Liaison with authorities
Support in managing relations with the Municipality, ARPA and the competent administrations.
Updating
Control of deadlines, changes and documentation over time.
Environmental management based on verifiable data and documents
Environmental applications require accurate technical information, consistent documentation and, where necessary, instrumental surveys. CSIA supports the company in collecting, verifying and organising the data needed to prepare assessments and authorisations.
A structured approach to technical documentation helps reduce errors, manage deadlines with greater control and present complete, well-structured applications to the authorities.
What changes for the company
Qualified technical support reduces the risks linked to incomplete or incorrect applications and helps the company manage obligations with greater order and peace of mind.
The environmental aspects we help to oversee
Noise, waste, authorisations and emissions are connected aspects that are part of overall environmental management. CSIA oversees them in an integrated way, helping the company keep control on all fronts.
